It was a big day for young AAU hoops in the state of Ohio. Buckeye Prep was hosting it’s 5th annual tournament at the U.S. Sport’s Academy, formerly the Hoop in Columbus, Ohio. There were teams from Michigan, Ohio, Georgia, West Virginia and other cities around the mid-west. All-Ohio had more teams in this event than Hines has pickles! All-Ohio Red, All-Ohio White, All-Ohio Purple, All-Ohio Flight, All-Ohio Connection, All-Ohio Swag, All-Ohio Dayton Nets, All-Ohio this, All-Ohio that! Although we were bouncing around court to court and also checking out a CBIZ practice at Otterbein collegeĀ  I.P.S. got a chance to see some top young kids and also some familiar faces:

Outside the Baseline: The main man Tony Lavender is back on the scene. Lav as his people call him took a few years off to watch his son Drew lead the Xavier Musketeers to the Elite 8. Now Lavender is back with All-Ohio working the sidelines as he is coaching the All-Ohio White 15’s up!
