7-foot, 2012, center, Obij Aget is a sure fire High-Major prospect. Obij walks like one, looks like one and plays like one and he impressed us with his ability to run the floor with long strides, dunks everything around the basket, changes shots, contests shorts, rebounds outside of his area and also has a fluid, natural movement without the big-raw stiff assumptions. Obij could be one of the best 2012 centers we have seen this spring (DeJaun Coleman, Tony Parker) just to mention a few. His upside is sick, the only thing now is getting bigger, stronger, developing the tools that he already owns and going up through the chin of defenders.
Obij’s teamate 6-foot-9, 2012, pf, Hanner Perea, as Hanner has ridiculous athleticism and it’s that very quick grab a camera type of hops, because it happens so fast you don’t have time to react. We didn’t get a chance to see Hanner or Obij against a true post defender considering their AAU team has size similar to a NBA team. But these boy’s are sure fire High-Major studs with upside galore.
Chris Harrison, 5-foot-10, 2012, pg from Team Indiana Elite has some shake to his game and Chris plays with tons of bounce and swagger. He has a somewhat mechanical shot, but he finds a way to nail it home once he get’s it in rhythm. He also showed great vision coming off a double high ball screen and throwing a terrific weak hand laser chest pass to a back cutting Riverra-Smith. Harrison reminds me of former Kentucky player Patrick Sparks.
Some others that played really well:
Aaron Craft, 6-foot-3, PG, 2010- put on a penetration clinic against the Eric Gordon All-Stars!
Jared Sullinger, 6-foot-9, PF, 2010- does what he does, and found a way to win with only 5 guys!
Amir Williams, 6-foot-10, C, 2011- played well at stretches, seems to have a comfort zone on contact.
Carlton Brundige, 6-foot-1, CG, 2011-played well early, hit a few from beyond the arc, needs to improve stroke.
Travis Trice, 5-foot-11, SG, 2011-shot it really well in stretches, offensive minded, shoots it well going right.
Trey Burke, 5-foot-11, pg ,2011-competes every game, has shot it better than we have ever seen lately.
Traevon Jackson,6-foot-3, WG,2011-goes harder than any kid out there, strong, physical and full of heart.
Colin Barth,5-foot-10, SG, 2011-hit the game winner to lift the CBIZ 16’s over All-Ohio Red in pool play.
TJ Hall, 6-foot-6,2010,WG gives smaller defenders problems and dropped 22 in a win over All-Ohio Red 17’s.
Kenny Kaminski, 6-foot-6, 2012, SF can really fill it up once he gets set. Needs to get inside the key.
Marcus Crider, 6-foot-5, 2011, WF-shows flashes of being a hooper, but his production is limited.
Reggie Smith, 5-foot-10, 2010, Pg- superior athlete that can rip the rim off in transition.Think Nate Robinson.
Myers Leonard, 6-foot-11, 2010, PF-has a high cieling and will face up. Long, athletic and goes hard!
Josh Smith, 6-foot-10, 2010, C, deboed smaller defenders as he is a man playing verse boys.
Mike Shaw, 6-foot-8, 2011, pf, talented prospect that floats on the edges, shows a skill set and huge upside.
Kentari Nettles, 6-foot-9, 2010, pf, a warrior on the interior and he finds, feels and finishes. MM+
James Siakim, 6-foot-6, 2011, pf, freak athlete with a pro-build and a warrior type mentality.
Tommy Hamilton, 6-foot-7, 2013, pf, can do it all, will be a household name within 24 months!
Rapheal Davis, 6-foot-5, 2012, WF, superior athlete who finishes above the rim in transition. HM
Spencer Turner, 6-foot-3, 2011, SG, lights out catch and shoot kid, limited athelete, but a wet stroke.
Cody Zeller, 6-foot-8, 2011, PF, that is very skilled, shows signs of upside, and had poise against Seattle Rotary.
Marshall Plumlee, 6-foot-10, 2011 C, is always smiling and is always competing hard. Needs to add strength and skill.
Terone Johnson, 6-foot-3, 2010 WG, competes every game, marginal athelete that doesn’t back down.
Jordan Manuel, 6-foot-7,2010, WF, shoots it really well once he gets into a rythm, could be special with a handle.
Nnau Egwu, 6-foot-10, Center, 2011, runs the floor really well, changes shots, will be a great defender.
Zach Price, 6-foot-10, Center, 2011, Price does a good job skipping it out of the post, needs to attack the rim.
Nyles Evans,5-foot-11, pg, 2011, knocked down the open shots, showed a crafty handle and found the open man.
Chasson Randle, 6-foot-2, sg, 2011, finished great in transition, gave The Family fits with his rim attacks.
Royce Muskeyvalley, 5-foot-11, pg,2011 goes extremely hard and is a floor general.
GeLawn Guynn, 6-foot-3, cg, 2010, does a good job slashing, pulling up and is very long. HM interest.
