Since all the latest hype about Michael, Tito, Janet, Joe and the rest of the crew; we wanted to tell you about a Jackson in Ohio!

Treavon Jackson, is a 6-foot-3, 185, 2011 wing-guard hails that from Westerville South High Shool in north Columbus, Jackson plays his summer ball for All-Ohio Red and coach Alphonzo “Benji” Burke.

Jackson,who was a key part of the 16U AAU National Champion team a few weeks ago in Orlando, Florida is starting to heat up on the recruiting trail this August. “Jackson already holds offers from Ohio University, Akron, Cleveland State and Miami-Ohio is also being called on by Wisconsin and Dayton as of late according to his AAU coach.

“Traevon is a very bright kid, he understands the recruiting process as much as he can and he even takes notes on programs and how well they are doing.” Anthony Calo (Assistant Coach, Westerville South) reported to High Major Scoop. “Trea is a gym-rat that really wants to be the best player he can be and he actually likes working on his game. He really has started working harder on his stroke since the end of the season and he makes sure to get his workouts in on time. He is a great kid to coach with his dedication and attitude towards the game.”

Jackson who is one of our Top 5 2011 prospects in the state of Ohio has spent a portion of his August in California playing in the LA Summer Pro-am honing his skills against the best.
