The Pittsburgh Basketball Club is again proud to host the 2010 Pittsburgh High School Basketball Classic. The event will take place January 31, 2010 at the Sewall Center on the campus of Robert Morris University.
Western Pa’s top teams and players will participate in the annual basketball extravaganza. Top boys teams in each classification will be participating in each game.
The 2010 Pittsburgh High School Classic is very, very proud to welcome one of America’s premier programs, Bishop O’Connell High School from Arlington,Virginia. Bishop O’Connell is led by 5 star North Carolina recruit Kendall Marshall and coached by Joe Wooten, son of legendary DeMatha High School Basketball coach Morgan Wooten. Bishop O’Connell will take on WPIAL Quad #2 Gateway during the High School Classic.
The game schedule is as follows:
11:00 AM Washington vs. Lincoln Park
12:30 PM Canon McMillan vs. Ambridge
2:00 PM Bishop O’Connell (VA) vs. Gateway
3:30 PM Beaver Falls vs. Char Valley
5:00 PM Upper St. Clair vs Aliquippa
6:30 PM South Fayette vs. Sewickley Academy
8:00 PM Seneca Valley vs. Kiski Area
